Why a vintage motorhome?
The Hymer is not a modern luxury motorhome. What matters to us is that we can understand it, work on it ourselves and turn it into a real home. It keeps us mobile while the sailboat is being refitted and whenever the next stage takes us over land.
Its 1984 build year fits the way we travel: repair rather than replace, learn rather than hide and never pretend that life on the road is always comfortable.
Vanlife as part of the journey
Tatventure is more than a sailing channel. The Hymer connects the boatyard, daily life and travel. It is a kitchen, a bed, a retreat and transport for two people and two cats.
