Not rich. Not finished.But on our way.

We did not leave our old life behind because we were running away from it. We want to discover what is waiting for us out there: cultures, people, the sea, chaos and all the stories that only happen when you truly set off.

Tatventure is not a polished travel channel. It is our real life: honest, unfiltered and right in the middle of the adventure.

From the tattoo studio to the open sea.

A straight path was never part of the plan.

Chapter 01

The dream

Two tattoo artists from Cologne, two cats and one stubborn feeling: there is something waiting for us out there. So we decided to rebuild our life from the ground up.

Chapter 02

Mayday

We bought our first sailboat in Ireland without seeing it in person. The journey ended with a mayday call, a lost boat and around €35,000 in damage. Giving up was still not an option.

A fresh start

We started all over again: with another old boat, our Hymer and a lot of hard work. This time, we are sharing every step.

Who is behind Tatventure?

Rob and Cleo, two tattoo artists from Cologne, are travelling with their cats Zoe and Loki between a sailboat and a vintage motorhome.

What does “without settling anywhere” mean?

We are not looking for another permanent address. Our home moves with us, on the water and on the road.

Do the cats really travel with you?

Yes. Zoe and Loki are a permanent part of our crew and every new home we build for ourselves.

How do you finance the journey?

Through our work as tattoo artists, YouTube, support from our community and jobs we can take on while travelling.
